I am also a writing snob! I never DNF a book faster than when the quality of the writing is shit. I just finished Atmosphere by Taylor Jenkins Reid. I think folks will draw a lot of comparisons between Atmosphere and Seven Husbands (and understandably so because it's also a historic queer love story), but it's a great read in its own right! Other books I have read recently and recommend: Woodworking by Emily St. James, The Poppy Fields by Nikki Erlick, and Work Nights by Erica Peplin

Glad to hear I'm not the only one!! Atmosphere is on my (incredibly long) TBR. Also, did you get an ARC of work nights or are you an incredibly fast reader? I thought that came out like this week!

Some GREAT recs in here!!! Excited to hear your thoughts about A Language of Limbs and Aristotle and Dante!! I’m currently reading and loving Dream State by Eric Puchner (a rare not-queer book for me lol). And the Legendborn series has been on my list for ages, I need to read it!!!
